CHANGES COMING!  NEW NAME AND NEW LOCATION!

Beginning October 1, 2013  we become the De Muniz Resource Center and will be temporarily located in the Marion County Work Center at 3950 Aumsville Hwy SE.  This is on the Marion County Sheriff’s Office corrections programs campus.  The new site offers an opportunity to serve clients in the Work Center as well as those releasing from the Marion County Jail and State Institutions.  In addition, individuals reporting to the Parole and Probation office will find the Center easily accessible.  The Center and its community partners will continue to work on locating a future location to provide community based programming.  Come visit us at our new location!

LEGAL ASSISTANCE CLINICS OFFERED!

Legal clinics provide assessments of civil legal issues facing clients.  Depending on the assessment, further legal assistance may be available.  The clinics are a collaborative effort between the Center, Willamette University School of Law, and the local legal community.  Thanks to our partners and Chief Justice Paul J. DeMuniz for providing the impetus and direction for the provision of this needed service.  Currently clinics are held each Friday from 3:00 to 5:00.  Contact the Center to sign up!

WOMEN’S REENTRY SERVICES

“New Leaf” Women’s Transitional Services is now a part of the Center!  Providing mentoring support for women releasing from incarceration, New Leaf also has offered a women’s support group at the Center.  Contact the Center for days/hours of the support group.
